Workshop Development & Facilitation (Multiple Organizations)

Designed and facilitated hands-on workshops for students, staff, and community members across technical skills, creative tools, and maker pedagogy.

The Challenge:
Even well-designed makerspaces can feel intimidating. Workshops served as the bridge to build confidence and capability so people could access and use the space independently.

My Contribution
Brock University — Intro to Podcasting, Intro to 3D Printing, Makerspace Orientation (students and staff)
Camosun College — Maker Pedagogy Workshop (staff), Makerspace Orientations (digitized and available online)
MakeSpace for Art Society — Map Your Memories with Laser Cutting (community)

The Impact
Workshops reached students, staff, and community members across institutions. Camosun's orientation materials were digitized and remain available as an ongoing resource.
