Tabitha Lewis is a Canadian visual artist and musician whose practice explores themes of identity, resilience, and joy through painting, drawing, and performance. Working intuitively across media, her work is emotionally resonant and rooted in storytelling and creative exploration. With over 15 years of experience in multimedia creation, she actively fosters accessible and inclusive creative communities.

Figurative Sculpture Intensive

ICanSculpt, Pietrasanta, Italy (2025)

10-day residency program studying classical Renaissance figurative sculpture under master sculptors David Hunwick, Gabriele Vicari, and Linda Lindsay SFCA in the historic Tommasi studio. Focus on anatomy, traditional Italian sculpting techniques, and professional practice.

Professional Creative Practice

Tabitha's artistic practice is informed by over 15 years working at the intersection of art, education, and creative technology. She has designed and launched makerspaces at post-secondary institutions, taught creative technology courses, and mentored emerging artists and makers. This experience shapes her approach to community-engaged art and accessible creative spaces.
